I have always had a passion for creativity and capturing those special moments. While developing my style of photography, I discovered the art of long exposure and fell in love.
Living in Newcastle means I often return to the same locations dozens of times, waiting for changing weather, tides, cloud and light to align. Some photographs happen in seconds. Others take months before everything finally comes together.
I developed a fascination for astrophotography, especially star trails. The manipulation of time and light opens up endless creative possibilities and makes you appreciate the beauty of the night sky in a completely different way.
Capturing the movement of stars over minutes or hours and combining that into a single image creates a visual result impossible to see with the naked eye.
